The Best, Most Reliable Particulate Monitor in the World

The CPM 5003 is BHA’s most advanced particulate emissions monitoring system. It is designed to provide years of trouble-free service with minimal maintenance. The CPM 5003 provides superior monitoring with many new powerful features. Certain applications require multiple calibration capability. The CPM 5003 can automatically switch between calibrations based on changing operating conditions or scenarios. The CPM 5003 also offers multiple calibration configurations for applications where a simple linear correlation is not sufficient.

CPM 5003 particulate monitors use a pair of sensors mounted to flanges that are attached to the point you want to monitor. Insulators are installed between the mounting flange and the sensors to allow for high gas stream temperatures.

The CPM 5003 system includes a dual microprocessor control unit, transmitter, and receiver. A modulated LED light source standard. The CPM 5003 is designed so that up to 255 monitoring points can be connected to the operator interface, an industrial hardened computer. Through the operator interface station, the operator can monitor and control all the CPM 5000 Series monitors in the system using BHA’s System Monitoring Software. The distance between monitoring points can be up to 2 miles (3.2 km).

The CPM microprocessor has been designed with built-in memory so if communications are lost between the operator interface and the controller, the continuous data can be saved in the microprocessor for 30 days. This assures that no data is lost while communications are being re-established. This data can then be downloaded through the operator interface station (remotely) or by connecting a laptop PC to each controller so the information can be downloaded in the field (locally).

The CPM 5003 includes a dedicated purge air blower that provides an adequate supply of clean, dry purge air.

* Multi-Point capability requires use of PC and WinCPM™ software.
