Advanced Technology, Excellent Reliability, and High Performance

The CPM 5001 is an economical alternative to the CPM 5003. It provides many of the same benefits of the CPM 5003 and is designed to provide years of trouble-free service with superior monitoring compared to opacity or triboelectric systems. The CPM 5001 is designed for applications that do not require multiple calibration and correlation.

CPM 5001 particulate monitors use a pair of sensors mounted to flanges that are attached to the point you want to monitor. Insulators are installed between the mounting flange and the sensors to allow for high gas stream temperatures.

The CPM 5001 system includes a microprocessor control unit, transmitter, and receiver. A modulated LED light source is standard. The CPM 5001 is designed so that up to 255 monitoring points can be connected to the operator interface, an industrial hardened computer. Through the operator interface station, the operator can monitor and control all the CPM 5000 Series monitors in the system using BHA’s System Monitoring Software. The distance between monitoring points can be up to 3.2 km. The CPM 5001 monitor has a maintenance alarm to tell you when to clean the lenses. This assures you that the CPM is always operating properly.

* Multi-Point capability requires use of PC and WinCPM™ software.

CPM® 5000 Series Options/Accessories

System Monitoring Software®

Optional Windows®-based CPM System Monitoring Software® allows all points to be monitored at a central PC. The Windows environment allows the user to customize the way the program appears on the screen. BHA designers have developed extremely easy-to-use software by taking advantage of the industry standard Graphical User Interface (GUI).

Remote Diagnostics Services

By connecting the CPM products to a phone line, Remote Diagnostics can be performed from BHA’s facility in Newport News, Virginia, without the need to send a technical director in the field for troubleshooting. BHA provides 24-hour technical assistance via fax, phone, or E-mail.

All CPM 5000 information is available via modem and each setting of the CPM 5000 Series can be adjusted allowing for remote calibration. The real time and historically trended data can be viewed and new software can be uploaded. Also, this data can be used remotely to assist in troubleshooting your entire air pollution control system.

CPM® Purge Air Blower
Low Pressure/High Volume Blower

Plant compressed air is often in limited supply and may contain dirt, water, and/or oil. To ensure maximum performance of your CPM ® particulate detection device, purging of the sensors is required. This minimizes dirt buildup on the lenses which reduces the maintenance required to your CPM device. The CPM® Purge Air Blower is designed to provide an adequate supply of clean, dry purge air.

Features of the CPM® Purge Air Blower:

  • Independent purge air source eliminates requirement of running air line from compressed air header
  • Dual filtered purge air
  • High reliability blower
  • NEMA 4 enclosure with vibration control mounting
  • Optional heater
  • Heavy duty, 0.25kW motor and blower
