Electrostatic Precipitator Replacement Parts
SF/Flakt/ABB/Alstom units
Insulators |
 |
|
The high voltage insulators in a Flakt
style Electrostatic Precipitator can be divided into three general categories:
The most common insulators in use in Australiasia are either the 370mm high conical support insulator (P/N
03105-00101-01), the 370mm high cylindrical support insulator (P/N
03105-00501-01), the HV rapper insulator (P/N 03105-00701-01) and the through-bush insulator (P/N
03105-00901-01).
We offer most insulators in two material grades - standard porcelain and high grade 85% Alumina. Click here if you want to know more about the advantages of 85% alumina ceramics.

Support Insulators
The support insulator is
found at the top of the electrostatic precipitator and is generally
housed within a heated compartment. In a Flakt style system there
are four support insulators per electrical field.
The most common
support insulators in use in Australasia are either the 370mm high conical support insulator (P/N
03105-00101-01)
or the 370mm high cylindrical support insulator (P/N 03105-00501-01).

Rapper Insulators
The rapper insulators in a Flakt
style Electrostatic Precipitator are found in an enclosure on the roof
in later style units or in the side wall in earlier SF style units.
The most common
rapper insulator in use in Australasia is the 400mm HV rapper insulator (P/N
03105-00701-01).

|
Through-bush Insulator
The through bush
insulator in a Flakt-style Electrostatic Precipitator is generally found
between the transformer rectifier (TR) and the support insulator
enclosure. It allows the high voltage supply to be fed from the TR
set to the ESP field while isolating the bus duct from the insulator
compartment.
The most common
through bush insulator in use in Australasia is our P/N
03105-00901-01.
