Cartridge Style Conversions

TAPC can supply cartridge style conversions for those collectors that require side access. BHA cartridge conversions utilize easy slide-in, slide-out filter installations that allow for fast cartridge change out. The collectors can be supplied in new clean plenums or hopper up designs. These small units still incorporate the same heavy duty construction standards as our larger conversion units.

Baghouse Rebuilds

TAPC can rebuild existing air pollution control equipment to reduce capital expenditures, improve efficiency, prolong bag life, and reduce maintenance costs.

Rebuilds may include:

  • Repairing or replacing tubesheets.
  • Replacing or lining hoppers.
  • Replacing or stiffening sidewalls.
  • Repairing or replacing the cleaning system, or upgrading to 1-1/2 in. double diaphragm valves for increased cleaning energy.
  • Repairing or replacing dampers.
  • Replacing or reworking material handling systems including fans, screw conveyors, airlocks and slide gates.
  • Replacing or rebuilding doors.
  • Patching housing leaks.
  • Installing expansion joints.
  • Modifying inlet baffling systems.

Cleaning Mechanisms/Blowpipes

Blowpipes are used to direct the air down through the venturi during cleaning and should always be considered a critical component when troubleshooting a baghouse cleaning system. Blowpipe misalignment and deterioration due to improper hole alignment and ineffective mounting methods result in bag and venturi abrasion as well as inefficient filter bag cleaning.

We specialise in providing upgrades to existing blowpipe designs and has developed fixtures and jigs to ensure proper hole alignment and strict manufacturing tolerances. Tool-free connections provide support and positive alignment. Blowpipes can be fabricated from a variety of specialty metals.
