Pulse-jet Conversions
TAPC?s pulse-jet conversions and baghouse
rebuilds are designed to maximize the operating efficiency of
existing equipment, providing a customized, economical
alternative to purchasing new equipment.
TAPC and BHA?s
engineering departments have designed thousands of modifications
to improve dust collector performance. Our Computer Aided
Design (CAD) engineering techniques can incorporate
established design practices to fit your unique process
needs.
Pulse-jet conversions
can be performed on shaker, reverse air, and plenum pulse
collectors. If your collector has problems with poor gas flow, high
maintenance costs, high dust emissions, or expensive or hard-to-get
parts, a pulse-jet conversion could be the answer to your problem.
We have developed special designs and techniques to convert a wide
range of OEM designs to pulse-jet collectors.
Some of the
type of conversions are:
- Complete Hopper Up Conversion
- Top Load Design Clean Air Plenum
- Bottom Load Design Clean Air Plenum
- Technical Components and Engineering
Design within the Existing Housing

Pulse-jet conversion modules can be installed in many applications.

Benefits of a Pulse-jet
Conversion
- Increased filter bag life.
- Increased airflow.
- Lower maintenance costs.
- Increased personnel safety (personnel don?t
have to enter the dirty side for filter replacement).
- A pulse-jet system often cleans on-line,
eliminating fluctuations in ventilation caused by off-line
cleaning in shaker, reverse air, and plenum pulse baghouses.
- ?Clean-on-demand? systems are utilized to
clean the filter bags only when needed, extending filter bag life
and reducing compressed air usage.
- Appropriate filter media is chosen for the
application to provide maximum filtration
efficiency.

The pulse-jet conversion is an economical solution
in solving many problems associated with envelope style
baghouses.
