Bagfilter Rebuilds and Conversions

Why Rebuild?
Pulse Jet
Cartridge
Why rebuild?

Bagfilters, like any other piece of equipment either get old or can't do the required duty any more.  There can a be a variety of reasons as to why a bagfilter needs to be replaced or upgraded including:

  • The need for greater production
  • Lack of performance at the collection point(s)
  • High operating pressure loss
  • Short bag life
  • Constant emissions

Don't just bulldoze it!  In many cases we can transform the old box into a new high performance bagfilter.

Depending on your requirements we can either restore the filter to it former capabilities or we can upgrade it to higher flow rates and higher efficiency.

We have the technology to do it better.

At TAPC we can not only rebuild your collector as it was before but we can also bring it up to the latest state-of-the-art technology.

By using PulsePleat® filter elements we can increase the available filtration area within your collector by two to three times!  This may well be the difference between requiring a complete new bagfilter and only having to rebuild the existing unit.

In most cases we can increase the flow through your system substantially.

No other company in Australasia has access to the latest technology available in the world today like we do.  If you want to see where things are headed have a look at our Max-9 hybrid collector.

Vast experience
TAPC and BHA have completed many hundreds of conversion projects both here and internationally.

Our experience stretches to almost every make of collector available, from the smallest bin-vent units to huge electrostatic precipitator conversions to bagfilters.  This gives us the ability to see what works and what doesn't.  In most cases we will have seen numerous collectors just like yours operating in the same processes or similar.

If you would like to achieve more from your existing bagfilters call us today.  We can troubleshoot your filter and determine whether a full rebuild is needed or whether there is a far more simple answer.
